The tradition of the artisan wines of Sa Forana, with the flavor of the stone, the sea and the wind of Menorca.

The high level of quality during the elaboration process, responding to a gastronomic hobby and with the will to integrate this culture in the Menorcan land.

Wines

They launched the first wine on the market in 2008 and currently the winery has an artisan production of 13,000 bottles per year. They make four different wines, two reds and two whites, selecting grapes with the phenolic ripeness that expresses the minerality of the limestone soil.

They are made from selected grapes with the phenolic maturity point that expresses the minerality of the chalky soil.

History

Winery owned by the Solano Molins family, with presence in Menorca since the seventies. The brothers Carlos and Xavier Solano planted the first vines in 2003, in response to their gastronomic hobby, and five years later they began marketing them, coinciding with the construction of the winery.

Vineyards

The vineyards are located on the Cugollonet Nou estate in Sant Climent, in the southeast of the island, in a stony and calcareous terrain. In 2003 they planted two hectares with cabernet sauvignon, merlot, syrah, tempranillo and the white variety chardonnay. In 2012 they added half a hectare more of chardonnay and white prensal.
