History

The Celler de Son Cremat is located in the municipality of Maó in an agricultural area where vineyards were planted centuries ago.

This is a small family winery that planted its first vines in January 2010 and after a few vintages of experimentation marketed its first production in 2015.

Vineyards

The project began with the preparation of the land and the planting of one and a half hectares of muscatel and chardonnay varieties, but they have already requested permits to activate another 1.7 hectares, thus doubling their production area.

The soil of the vineyard is calcareous and flat, shallow, but the calcarenite rocks provide the vines with good drainage and oxygenation. It also has a great biological richness and a great wine potential.

The work in the vineyard and the winemaking process are manual and they count on the advice of an oenologist who puts all her enthusiasm into this small project.
